ComicHub to Look Down On Comics Industry at Diamond Summit in Nevada
Bleeding Cool has previously written about the new comic store customer management system ComicHub, which allows customers to manage their comic book pull lists, get information and feed back to the stores, who are able to manage their own distributor and publisher orders, deliver promotion offers and, basically, manage everything a bit better.
On Saturday, May 18th, ComicHub will be moving its offices from New York and New Zealand into a suite high in the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino. The hospitality suite will take place during the Diamond Comics Distribution Summit but is not connected with the Summit. "We wanted to give retailers an alternative to the programming that many of them have seen before and create a space where publishers and retailers alike can meet and relax," said Atom! Freeman, ComicHub's sales guy and official host.
The Suite will be open on Sunday, and just Saturday for retaielrs making plans.
"We love comics retailers and publishers and work every day to make their lives easier with ComicHub," continued Atom!, "Giving them an opportunity to step off the floor and learn about it seemed like the least we could do for these folks."
"Plus, free beer!" mentioned Stu Colson, ComicHub co-founder.
The suite will have two working versions of ComicHub for shop owners and publishers to play with and demo and four Las Vegas area shops are opening their doors and databases for visiting retailers to demo including the multi-store functions, Cosmic Comics and all three outlets of MaximuM Comics in Las Vegas.
To find the location of the secret location of the ComicHub suite at this year's Diamond Summit, retailers are requested to email sales@comichub.com.[
