2 Clips from The Equalizer 2 Tease History and Violence

The Equalizer with Denzel Washington was the most Dad movie to ever Dad movie, but it was also a ton of fun to watch on just a basic level. The final scene in the first movie, where Washington's Robert McCall takes out an entire group of gangsters with things you'd find in a Home Improvement store, was one of the best action scenes of 2014. Washington is breaking his no-sequel rule to return to this role in The Equalizer 2 later this month. Sony Pictures has released two short clips from the movie.

Summary: Robert McCall serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed – but how far will he go when that is someone he loves?

The Equalizer 2, directed by Antoine Fuqua, stars Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo. It will be released on July 20th.
