As production begins on the show's fourth season, the cast line-up for AMC's Fear the Walking Dead continues to grow as actress Maggie Grace (Lost) has signed on as a series regular on the horror-drama series. Though no further information on her character was made available, answers should be forthcoming as the show just began filming Season 4 this week.

Best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on ABC's Lost, Grace was also a part of the successful Taken and Twilight franchises. She is set to join returning FTWD cast members Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia; and previously announced new series regulars Garret Dillahunt (The Gifted, The Mindy Project) and Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg, Friends with Benefits).

Perhaps the biggest surprise awaiting Grace when she steps foot on the set is the addition of Lennie James, who will be reprising The Walking Dead fan favorite Morgan Jones on FTWD as part of a crossover between the series.

TWD/FTWD creator Robert Kirkman first confirmed during The Walking Dead's New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2017 panel that the two shows would finally acknowledge each others presence during either FTWD's fourth season or TWD's ninth season. Since then, the show's creators teased fans with a "The Worlds Collide" social media campaign that even got recently cast FTWD star Elfman involved. AMC finally revealed it was James by having him appear via satellite on the Talking Dead that followed TWD's sixth episode of Season 8: 'The King, the Widow and Rick.'

Fear the Walking Dead is set to return for its fourth season in mid-2018, with production currently underway on location in Austin, Texas. The upcoming season will also mark the first for new showrunners Andrew Chabliss (Once Upon a Time) and Ian Goldberg (Dead of Summer).
