John Ostrander Loves The Suicide Squad Movie – What Do Other Comic Book Creators Say?

So a few people from DC Comics went to see the Suicide Squad movie. They included John Ostrander co-creator of the original Suicide Squad comic book – who also has a building named after him in the new movie.

But what would he think of the film itself? Which takes plenty of liberties from the original, has a Harley Quinn/Joker focus

He posted on Facebook after having just seen the movie.

I had a wonderful time and i loved the film.

Rob Liefeld, Deadpool's co-creator, and nothing to do with Suicide Squad – even though it nay have had some reshoots in his honour, says,

Harley is the only good part of the film.

Looks like we have a divided America… Jimmy Palmiotti who co-writes the Harley Quinn comic right now says,

Here is an interesting thing to do….go to twitter and type in SUICIDESQUAD and read the live feed of people coming out of the movie. 95% of the people that have seen it love it. I think in a way, the critics not loving it is making the actual people paying to see it like it more maybe? I had a great time, flawed as the story was in places…I loved the characters and hope for another.

While current Suicide Squad comic book writer isn't saying anything, but he is taking photos…
