Alaskan Road Truckers Adds An Expansion & New DLC

Indie game studios Green Man Gaming, Movie Games, and Road Studio have released two new pieces of content for Alaskan Road Truckers. First off, players have a free update they can get in on as the Ice Roads Expansion is available right now, adding a new region to the mix with new cargo, characters, hazards, locations, mechanics, and more. Meanwhile, the team also released the Trucking Hell DLC, which comes with several cosmetics, as well as another new character and a special truck. Ice Roads Expansion

The first full expansion to be released, which takes you deeper into the frozen wilderness of Alaska than ever before! As well as new challenges, new locations, and much more, real-life Alaskan Road Trucker Lisa Kelly (featured in the History Channel's Ice Road Truckers) joins the game as a playable character! The Ice Roads Expansion is available for free for anyone who owns Alaskan Road Truckers. Here's what's new in the free Ice Roads Expansion:

  • New region – Ice Roads
  • New mountain and cliffside roads
  • A new playable character – Lisa Kelly!
  • Seven new cargo types
  • Seven new logistic locations
  • Eight new points of interest
  • New mechanic: breakable ice
  • New mechanic: Ferry transport (available in Summer)
  • New consumables
  • Snow all year long in the Ice Roads DLC area
  • Tons of secrets and Easter eggs

Alaskan Road Truckers: Trucking Hell DLC

It's not enough to be the best trucker in Alaska; you also need to look the part! Welcome to the awesome new Trucking Hell cosmetic DLC, giving you a swathe of metal customization options for your player and your truck. From a brand-new player character to new truck options, this DLC will help you max out your look on and off the road. Here's everything included in the Trucking Hell DLC:

  • New Post-apocalyptic playable character
  • New Special Truck is available in the HQ Truck Shop
  • Two special Trucking Hell truck skins are available for all trucks

New Hellish truck customization parts, including:

  • The bumper from Hell
  • Post-apocalyptic gun replicas (Non-Fireable)
  • Deathdealer grill
  • Infernal windshield cover
  • Fire and brimstone exhaust
  • Spikey hood cover
  • The horned ram skull
