EA Games Planning a Battlefield V Beta Sometime in September

In case you haven't been playing with the Electronic Arts systems as of late, Battlefield V went through an alpha period in which we now know some of the results. DICE posted a blog entry last week letting players know what they learned from testing out the alpha, and it appears there's a lot more that needed fixing than they thought. That being said, they are moving forward with a beta sometime in September and announced the game is coming to Gamescom.

There will be several more tests of Battlefield V – internal and external – before the October launch, and we will be using our learnings from the first Alpha to test further and fine-tune the experience. There will be a new build of Battlefield V at Gamescom, too, and then there is the Open Beta in early September to look forward to. Thanks again for helping us make Battlefield V the best it can be.

Not many details were given out about the beta like timing or console preference, we're basically just waiting to see when they feel like ironing out all the small pieces to get it together. But if it's anything like the alpha signups, spots will end up going quickly.
