Elder Dice Have Returned with a Second Kickstarter Campaign
Infinite Black, LLC has returned to Kickstarter with another Elder Dice campaign — because nothing says tabletop gaming like Lovecraftian imagery. Their successful first Kickstarter shipped at the end of 2017/ early 2018, and it did so well that they're back with more Lovecraft-themed dice. The Elder Dice: Unspeakable Tomes set has three themes: the Sigil of the Dreamlands, The Yellow Sign, and the Mark of the Necronomicon.
Just like last time, every set of Elder Dice contains a complete set of nine polyhedral gaming dice: 1 d4, 3 d6s, 1 d8, 1d10, 1d%, 1d12, and 1 d20. Each is packaged in a matching magnetic grimoire box.
The dice are ready to send off to manufacturing, and molds for the dice are already being created, so the Kickstarter campaign was designed just to fund production. Already, the campaign has exceeded its target mark and hit $391,881 USD in total sales, which meant the project completed most of its stretch goals. While the Kickstarter campaign has ended, late backers can still put in for their chance to purchase a Lovecraft-inspired set of gaming dice on the project's pledge manager page.
Elder Dice are designed by artist David LaRocca and game designer Heath Robinson.
