LEGO Star Wars Summer Sets Have Started To Hit Stores, Here Is A Look At The Bounty Hunter Battle Pack

There are some pretty nifty sets coming this summer from LEGO® and their Star Wars line, from the Prequels all the way through Force Awakens, every era of Star Wars is going to be touched upon. One of the sets I was most excited to get my hands on was the Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle Pack (set #75167), for one reason and one reason only: Bossk. Ever since I was kid thinking he was a dinosaur in Empire Strikes Back, he has been one of my favorite characters, and I have a collectors focus on him so this became a priority. At $14.99, it is one of the cheaper sets available, and one of the best buys as well.

The build of the speeder bike itself was quick and easy. Three bags contain all 125 pieces, and that includes the mini-figs. This speeder could actually just be a polybag vehicle to be honest, if it was a couple pieces smaller. But, that is not to say it is not a cool looking piece once it is finished. The blue accent pieces really make the whole thing pop, and it sits really well when displayed.

The real selling point of this set is the mini-figs however. All four bounty hunters: Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM, and Dengar all are well-loved characters, and all four in here are great and updated. Bossk is not a disappointment, I love everything about this one. From the head piece to the detail on his uniform it is perfect. IG-88 is a neat little figure as well, dare I say cute. He does have a slight issue standing because of the skinny legs, but he will stay up in certain poses. 4-LOM is the same as Bossk; awesome head piece and great detail on the body. And Dengar, while never my favorite character, looks pretty cool as well, and he gets the most attention with extra pieces.

This set took me about 15 minutes to put together. At $15, you have to really want these mini-figs to justify the purchase. But who wouldn't want all the important bounty hunters all in one shot? For me, this made it more than worth the price. You can order one here soon, or find it in stores now.
