Some Players Made a Functional Portal Gun in Overwatch's Workshop

Give people the tools and the mechanics and watch them go! Some Overwatch players did just that by recreating a Portal gun in the game. I personally absolutely hated the remodel of Symmetra that the developers did on her character and abilities, as she used to be one of my attack mains that no one saw coming. Others have enjoyed it but I think she's busted for good. Others, however, have found new practicality in her new form. One of the new abilities was creating a teleporter as a regular ability instead of a special one, but it's only short-range. But with Overwatch's new Workshop area, a number of players were able to get together and turn Symmetra's teleporter ability into a proper Portal gun.

Now if this function was actually in Overwatch, giving her the ability to open up portals wherever she wished, that would definitely make us want to play her again as a character. What are the odds of that happening? Probably not at all, but at least this way you can check out the possibilities if you just undo some of the damage they did.
