It looks like The Binding Of Isaac will finally be coming to an end as the game's final DLC will be released before the end of this year. Edmund McMillen, the creator of the game, took to Twitter this week to let fans know the direction the game was headed in as the last additions to the game will slowly be coming out over the several months, but everything should wrap up before 2020 rolls around.
general updates: The Legend of Bumbo is slowly moving toward a release around the end of q3. Repentance is scheduled for a late q4 release, the four souls expansion should be out in a month, the Gish 15 year ani. Is coming soon & mewgenics is a thing again! Should be a good year. pic.twitter.com/T1yekkwj1a

Fans of the game have been treated to a lot of bonus content since the original version of The Binding Of Isaac was released back in 2011. What McMillen has up his sleeve for the next game he's working on is unknown at the moment, but at least he's not leaving fans hanging with Isaac and plans to finish off this eight-year journey properly. Of course, this wouldn't be the first time he said he was done with the game and this would be the last DLC, so only time will tell.
