Ubisoft's "For Honor" is Getting a Spectator Mode

For Honor fans got another look at the deadly hitokiri Sakura at the Ubisoft E3 conference today, but hidden in the pre-show was another announcement fans have been looking forward to. Coming soon, players will be able to spectate on other player's matches, so they can enjoy the complicated duel system mechanics to the fullest.

While the Spectator mode didn't get a release date, Ubisoft did indicate that the update is coming in 2019, so it should release in the next few months.

Plenty of other games have similar spectator modes, and not all fans of For Honor will be thrilled with this one, but it'll be a great tool for sharing your gameplay highlights with friends. It can also provide a way for new players to figure out how to best use the Art of Battle system, which has a pretty steep learning curve.
