Castlevania Successor Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Has Been Pushed To 2018
There was a lot of excitement when Catlevania: Symphony of the Night developer Koji Igarashi kickstarted Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night last year. Understandably so too, as the original inspiration is a loft many 'best game of all time' lists.
However, we got some bad news today about the game. During a new developer update, it was announced that the game was being delayed until the first half of 2018. The reasoning is that Igarashi wants to bring in another developer to help keep the game's vision intact. He did also say that the proposed date wasn't set in stone, so it could move again in the future.
Regardless, delays are usually good and we should let games take as much time as they need to get done. 2018 sounds a long way off I know, but there will be a lot of good titles between here and then. I'm sure we will all manage.
