Viz Media's Pokemon Cookbook Will Teach You How To Cook Pokemon
In a shocking press release, American manga publisher Viz Media has announced plans to publish The Pokemon Cookbook: Easy & Fun recipes, showing readers how to cook and eat the Pokemon they catch while playing popular mobile game Pokemon GO. Created by Maki Kudo, The Pokemon Cookbook contains "a variety of delectable and inventive original recipes" for preparing delicious meals out of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and just about any unlucky Pokemon you can capture and bring to your kitchen. Yum!
For decades, Pokemon players have hunted Pokemon for sport, pitting the captured beasts against each other in senseless displays of violence. However, years ago, our ancestors used to use every part of the Pokemon, eating the meat, making tools and clothes out of their bones and skin. While eating Pokemon may seem gross and cruel, it's actually an improvement over the current state of Pokemon hunting, which is very wasteful.
In addition to the Pokemon Cookbook, Viz will also publish Pokemon X•Y Pocket Comics, a "substantial pocket-sized book jam-packed with four-panel comic strips featuring favorite characters from the POKÉMON X•Y manga series along with additional Pokémon vital statistics, trivia, and fun quizzes." Both books will be in stores December 6.
