Michael Pachter is easily the most recognizable analyst working in games. He has been commenting on the industry for years and many of his reports are well regarded.

That's why this new Wedbush report is particularly interesting. As obtained by VideoGamer, it reveals that Pachter has some pretty striking predictions about Mass Effect 4, Need for Speed and Mirror's Edge 2. In the report Pachter said:

FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror's Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15.

FY:16 refers to EA financial year which runs from April 2015 through to March 2016, so he is predicting that the games will land before the end of that period.

While Need for Speed is likely, personally I think both Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge, judging on what we've seen so far, are Christmas 2016 games. I could be wrong here, but from what I understand about those game's productions, that seems too soon for both.
