Black Ops 3 Might Be Being Hinted At In Black Ops 2 Right Now
Viral Marketing campaigns are always interesting to watch unfold. While I'm never inclined to take part in something like I Love Bees, reading about them is fascinating.
In that vain, there is something pretty interesting developing at the moment that could hint to a campaign to tease the expected Black Ops 3 announcement. Or it could just be a weird anomaly to get people to follow Call of Duty on Snapchat.
YouTube user Drift0r noticed that after a new patch, a small SnapChat ghost had been added to some of the fictional in-game advertising. If you scan the ghost it in the app, it will have you follow a Call of Duty account. This is a petty weird addition to the game, and because of the timing, it's being suggested that this could be the first step in a marketing campaign for Tryarch's next game.
Here is the video which goes deeper into the weird new addition to the levels.
Thanks to VG24/7 for the heads up.
