The more I see of Halo: Online, the more I'm sold on it. Which is a shame, because as of now, the free-to-play game will only be available in Russia. It could come to the West in the future, but my guess is that that's unlikely for a while.
If you want to feel like a kid looking into a candy shop window, here is some gameplay courtesy of AllGamesBeta. There is no description as to where this came from, so for now I will assume they got Beta access. Check the footage out here:

This really is way prettier than I thought a game built on the Halo 3 engine would look. Colour me impressed, barring egregious, exploitative free-to-play tactics.
