Cumberbatch And Martin In First Official Sherlock 4 Photo

This image was released by both the BBC and PBS for the upcoming fourth series/season of Sherlock. The interesting thing is how both were cropped before Tweeting. The first shot is promoting the airings on BBC One and is cutoff at the basically the heart. While the one promoting Masterpiece Theater carries on down to the thighs. Is this saying that the British only care about the mind and heart of these characters while the US wants to include…. other parts?

Also, how are we to interpret John Watson (Martin Freeman) looking to the side? Is he turning away from Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) or is someone coming?
