Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today Kickstarts To Revamps Old School Gaming
Hi there, Bleeding-Coolers! I'm Luis Luis Oliván, from Fictiorama Studios, and I'd like to talk to you about Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today: our 2D point and click adventure game that has just hit Kickstarter.
Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today is an old-school 2D point and click adventure game, featuring space-time distortions, concentration camps, a dystopian atmosphere… and a dark, bloodstained plot.
But, before you start wondering why do these guys think Bleeding Cool readers could be interested in knowing about their video game… let me explain it to you: do you know Alfonso Azpiri, the renowned Spanish comic artist, creator of the Lorna series? Well: he has designed an awesome cover for Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today… and you can get it as a reward in our campaign! Even signed by him!
Furthermore, if you really love Azpiri's art… you can get a unique, original, hand-made drawing: a beautiful 15.7 x 11 inches (40 x 28 cm) illustration in mixed media (watercolor, airbrush…). But hurry, there is only one available! (Umm… yes… that's why it's "The Original"…)
And now, let me tell you about our game. Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today is the first title of the Dead Synchronicity series: a 2D point and click adventure to be released for PC, Mac, and tablets (iOS).
Featuring a script with dystopian overtones, the game pays homage to classic adventures (The Secret of Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Day of the Tentacle) but revolves around a more mature theme, along the lines of games such as I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream or Sanitarium.
Some of the core game features are: a classic point and click interface, 2D graphics featuring a unique, expressionist style, a stunning dystopian sci-fi plot, mature content featuring a dark, bloodstained story, atmospheric soundtrack composed by the indie rock band Kovalski, old school, progressive "open-world" immersive experience, and HD cutscenes.
So: do you feel like playing an "old school" point and click adventure game… featuring a gruesome, sci-fi background? Then browse our Kickstarter campaign and maybe you will find a reward you fancy… so that we can turn our adventure into your adventure too.
Cheers from Luis!
