Edge Of No Where Looks Like Lovecraft With An Oculus Rift
Insomniac Games are most well known for their colourful and vibrant worlds in Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive. Both burst with colour and make very comofortable homes on consoles.
That is why I was surprised to see them take the stage yesterday at Oculus' Pre-E3 press conference yesterday. I was even more surprised to see their Oculus exclusive game Edge of No Where, a third person Lovecraftian decent in a snowy region. It really almost looks like an adaption of At the Mountains of Madness and I'm pretty cool with that. Putting that inside of a VR world and letting the player experience it…it could be very powerful.
