From Glass House, Hulk Hogan Throws Subtweet Stone At Bill Maher Over N-Word Usage

Comedian and supreme edgelord Bill Maher found himself in hot water this weekend after using a racial slur in a joke on his HBO show. During a conversation with Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse (R), Maher showed how much of an edgy bad ass he is when Sasse invited him to come to his home state and "work in the fields."

"Work in the fields?" Maher replied. "Senator, I'm a house ******."

HBO promised Saturday to remove the offensive word from future broadcasts, and Maher issued an apology:

Friday nights are always my worst night of sleep because I'm up reflecting on the things I should or shouldn't have said on my live show. Last night was a particularly long night as I regret the word I used in the banter of a live moment. The word was offensive and I regret saying it and am very sorry.

But for one pro wrestling legend with twenty-four inch pythons, brother, it just wasn't good enough.

Hulk Hogan took to twitter to subtweet about the controversy:

Hogan was ousted from his job in WWE in July of 2015 (though he is rumored to be returning soon) after comments made in a secretly-recorded cuckold sex tape were leaked as a result of a legal battle with website Gawker. Speaking to the wife of radio host Bubba The Love Sponge, who Hogan was having sex with in the video, Hogan had the following to say about his daughter's relationship with a Black man.

I don't know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy's son. I mean, I don't have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing ******s. But then when it comes to nice people and shit, and whatever. I mean, I'd rather if she was going to f**k some ******, I'd rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall ****** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we're all a little racist. F***ing ******.

Does Hogan feel that Maher is getting off too easy? Perhaps he feels that Maher is getting a better deal than he did. Maybe his bandannas are tied on too tight. Or maybe he's working himself into a shoot, brother.

Whatever the case, maybe, just maybe, the Hulkster should have stayed outside the ring for this one.
