Jimmy Wong and Doua Moua Join the Cast of Mulan as Ling and Po

The supporting cast of the live-action Mulan continues to fill out. According to DeadlineJimmy Wong and Doua Moua have been cast as Ling and Po, respectively. In the animated feature that many people are familiar with, Ling and Po are two of the three main soldiers that Mulan meets while in the army. They're also the ones who end up dressing as geishas to sneak into the palace near the end of the film. Wong took to Twitter to express his excitement and how long he's been keeping this a secret.

Production on the live-action Mulan just started, and it already features a pretty amazing-looking cast. Disney shared a picture of star Liu Yifei in costume to kick off the production, and the internet seemed pretty happy with the image. As production goes on we'll learn more about this movie and how it's going to be different from the Disney cartoon — but at this stage we do know it will differ in some major ways, and some fans aren't taking it too well.

Summary: A young Chinese maiden disguises herself as a male warrior in order to save her father. A live-action feature film based on Disney's 'Mulan.'

Mulan, directed by Niki Caro, Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Yoson An, Xana Tang, Jason Scott Lee, and Ron Yuan. It will be released on March 27th, 2020.
