Legends Of Tomorrow Will Acknowledge The Vixen Animated Series

The Vixen animated series runs on the CW Seed and included the voices of the live-action Arrowverse members Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell, Carlos Valdes, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh and Brandon Routh. Placing the animated series squarely in the Arrowverse. It also looks like the third season of Legends of Tomorrow will borrow the character of Kuasa, sister of Mari McCabe and granddaughter of Amaya Jiwe.

In Vixen, Ray Palmer (Routh) meets Kuasa, and now we know that when they meet in the live-action series (with Kuasa played by Tracy Ifeachor) they will acknowledge the previous meeting.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW.com that his knowledge may just help their version of Vixen:

"If you go back and look at Vixen season 2, I wouldn't exactly call her fighting alongside Ray, she's always been morally questionable. But I think that's what makes it interesting as far as Amaya is concerned is that Ray, at the appropriate moment, will accurately tell her that there were moments where Kuasa was capable of selfless good, so I think that gives Amaya a little bit of hope."

Though Firestorm also appeared in the Vixen series, he never crossed paths with Kuasa.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns October 10th at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
