Mortal Kombat X Director Refuses The Rule Out Additional Characters
Mortal Kombat X had several characters in the main storyline that weren't playable. Sindel and Barakka for example where both opponents in the campaign mode, but are currently not playable in the game.
This has led a lot of people to believe that they will show up as DLC later down the line. Mortal Kombat director Ed Boon add a little fuel to that fire the other day emphatically refusing to rule out more character DLC. Answering a fan who wondered if Boon would rule out another Kombat Pack, he tweeted:

Since they are already in the game, Sindel, Barakka and Rain are probably safe bets. After that? Maybe some guest characters. Perhaps like Spawn…
