Remedy Games Confirm That Quantum Break Is Skipping E3 For GamesCom

Quantum Break was announced all the way back at the Xbox One's reveal event. That's two and a bit years since the name first came to us, yet details have been sparse still. If you were expecting to hear about the game's progress at this year's E3 because of that though, be ready to change them.

In this pretty charming video, developer Remedy has announced plans to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and that the next we hear from Quantum Break will be at GamesCom in August. Check that out here:

In reality, this is only a minor delay, being less than two months between the two shows. It's significant though, as the game has been trundling along for a while in development. I assume we will hear news of a release date in Germany though, which I expect to be the first half of 2016. We will see.
