The Evil Within's First Person DLC Gets A New Trailer
I really like it when DLC changes the way we understand or play a game. Twisting an established formula and changing it up is one of the more inventive ways to use additional content. (see: Blood Dragon)
That's exactly what the Evil Within DLC, the Executioner is doing. It's changing the third person survival horror game into a first person melee arena fighter. In a synopsis, Bethesda explain the DLC as:
The Executioner places players in a series of battle arenas all from the first-person perspective of The Keeper. Initially armed with The Keeper's signature hammer, players will fight against a host of The Evil Within's iconic villains to earn new weapons and upgrades. Set in the Manor House of the Victoriano Estate, The Executioner features first-person melee combat combined with exploration and discovery as players unearth the story of a man forced to become The Keeper.

Humanising the Keeper a little more is potentially a cool way to go. This whole thing could be a huge mess, but if it is, it's cool to see Tango Gameworks at least experimenting a little bit with what they established.
