The Tick To Premiere On Amazon In August
The new The Tick TV series starring Peter Serafinowicz premieres on Amazon Prime August 25th. This newest live-action adaptation of Ben Edlund's superhero parody started out as part of Amazon's Pilot Season before getting picked up for series. I watched the pilot when it aired and it has a different tone than the comic series or the previous incarnations (Live-action and animated). Here, you're not quite sure if the Tick is real or a figment of Arthur's (Griffin Newman) imagination. A new tick costume (seen above) was revealed recently that was more streamlined and darker than the one in the pilot.
