SDCC '15: Star Wars Goes To The Dogs With Petco Range Of Toys And Costumes
One of the amazing things about the growth of SDCC over the years is that there really is something for everyone, and that includes man's best friend. The Star Wars booth is filled with various licensees of Star Wars' products, including Petco who had the Star Wars Pet Fans Collection on display. The first thing to know is this collection caters to both the Light Side of the Force, items for dogs, and the Dark Side of the Force, items for cats.
The collection started in May and will have new items released throughout the year. I asked whether we might be seeing some items from Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the future and the rep from Petco said that we likely would, but he could not say anything else. The collection includes toys, beds, cosplay for pets, and more. Here are some of the items they had on display.
I have a feeling that my dogs will soon be drinking water out of the Chewbacca bandolier bowl. So head to Petco and you can cosplay with your pets. Just please keep the lightsabers away from the cats. They can't be trusted, they will turn on us and wipe out all the Younglings.
