And the writer and artist of Future State: Teen Titans, Tim Sheridan and Rafa Sandoval will be launching Teen Titans Academy #1 from DC Comics in March And it looks as if the new character Red X, whoever is under the helmet, will be a lead in the new series going forward.
It does seem to[...]

Hal's turning the tide of his battle, but he will have to take a major gambit if he's to save the day.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #50 marks the end of this series as well as Robert[...]
We also get to see Hal Jordan confront Tomar-Tu again, adding even more tension and conflict to this final battle.
It is something of a shame that Orion, General Zod, and Arkillo have more-or-less fallen into the background of this story, with Orion having no lines, and Zod and Arkillo barely saying a thing.
Hal Jordan and[...]
It's a lot of fun and spends very little time talking beyond the main characters making their plans in the opening pages.
Kilowog also gets a good monologue in while staring down Tomar-Tu, and I quite enjoyed that as well.

Even if the issue was a little light on plot advancement, the development was quite good.

Rafa Sandoval, Jordi Tarragona, and Tomeu Morey return to this issue to ply their gorgeous work to this book As always, the world is[...]
The bad dialogue returned with this one, and it, along with some questionable plot contrivances, kills this issue. Joe Bennett provides some good artwork here too, but it's not enough to save this book.

Corps Leader John Stewart is brought before the Guardians of the Universe over the contingent of Green Lanterns that left to save Hal Jordan from the Zod family on Jekuul.
On Jekuul, Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner, Kilowog, and the other Green Lanterns attack General Zod, Ursa, Lor, and their Jekuul followers.
Hal Jordan and the Green[...]
This issue brings both the origins of the Cosmic Ghost Rider and Thanos fighting off the Silver Surfer and the Annihilation Wave, both of which further show what a "Thanos Wins" scenario looks like — and it is deliciously bleak.

Guy Gardner, true-to-form, is less patient than John and gathers a cadre of Green Lanterns to save Hal.
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #39 cover by Rafa Sandoval, Jordi Tarragona, and Tomeu Morey
Given how deep we are into this story already, Hal Jordan and the GL Corps #39 is an oddly slow-moving and ponderous[...]
He is accompanied by Eradicator, fellow Kryptonian Ursa, and a son.
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #37 cover by Rafa Sandoval, Jordi Tarragona, and Tomeu Morey
If you're thinking to yourself that it seems unlikely that even Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner could stand up to three Kryptonian warriors, then Hal Jordan and[...]

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #29 cover by Rafa Sandoval, Jordi Tarragona, and Tomeu Morey
With Highfather of the New Gods in tow, Hal Jordan is on his way to reunite with the Green Lantern Corps Meanwhile, John Stewart learns that the Nth Metal Golems intend to free Yuga Khan, the father of,[...]
Both did little to advance their story, but each gave me solid enough character moments to make me OK with that.
Thanks to that, it makes it that more meaningful when Hal Jordan (spoilers again) does push himself and the Green Ring hard enough to catch up with Lightray and Highfather.
Art from Hal Jordan and the[...]
Seeing Hal Jordan trying to take this creature on his own is awesome, and his trademark confidence is always welcome.
Rafa Sandoval's artwork is still gorgeous I wish this guy was the sole artist on this title He makes the most artistically stunning issues of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps I can't get enough[...]
They are great characters to have share panel space.
Rafa Sandoval is back on the art of this book, and I'm quite happy to see his return His sleek and cosmic styling perfectly fits Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps He makes a good rotating companion with Ethan van Sciver, and the two have collectively[...]
He does this by using a lot of detail and expression.
Rafa Sandoval is my favorite of the regular artists on the book It's a style worthy of the word cosmic He is excellent at making figures seem in motion His characters look awesome and expressive Tarragona and Morey bolster his art to maintain this cosmically[...]
