We Will Get A Look At Rare's New Game At E3

Rare-characters

With the incredible success of the Yooka-Laylee, Microsoft and Rare should be feeling a little silly about not getting a new Banjo-Kazooie out yet. There is clearly a huge desire for this kind of product and that authentic Rare voice.

Well, despite many of the company's creatives going off to work on that passion project, Rare are still a company owned by Microsoft who are working on new games. It seems we will know what that new game is pretty soon too. When responding on Twitter to the success of the Yooka-Laylee campaign, creative director at the studio, Simon Woodroffe let slip that the company would be showing off its new game at E3.

For reference, Gregg Mayall was the director of Banjo-Tooie plus had a hand in Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country. Woodroffe added:

We know that this won't be another Kinect game and that Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said the project feels distinctly 'Rare'. Beyond that, we don't know. Rumours of a new Battletoads has been floating around for a while mind…
