DC Bombshells Jada Toys Hollywood Rides Car Week: Poison Ivy!

DC Bombshells Hollywood Rides die cast vehicles and figures are now available, and this week we are going to take a look at five of them, one each day. Hollywood Rides are maybe Jada Toys most popular line of collectibles, as they take iconic vehicles and characters and recreate them in great detail to add to our shelves in our collections. The cars are some of the best on the market, and these are no different. The DC Bombshells Hollywood Rides all comes with figures of the respective characters, and their Rides are based on actual cars. Jada Toys was nice enough to send these over for us to show you, so let's take a look.

DC Bombshells Jada Toys Hollywood Rides Car Week: Poison Ivy!

Just to echo what has been said these past couple days about this packaging: it is fantastic Of the five vehicles Jada sent over, this box was the least damaged, although if they had just reinforced that right side of the box a bit more it would have been perfect.

Of the five figures, this one has the most complicated sculpt. I wish they had used different greens to make the vines stand out a bit more from her costume. Her hair draws your eye immediately, as it should. Overall it is a little bland, but thats ok.

Ivy's DC Bombshells car features the most interesting paint job of any of the cars. This one is modeled after a 1953 Chevy Bel Air, and is such a classic design that it is instantly appealing to the eye. Working parts on this car include the hood, which reveals a ton of shiny engine parts. Both doors also open of course. The white walls on the tires are amazing, and the Ivy logo on the doors looks exceptional. I love the more faded look for this one, it adds character to the vehicle.

Poison Ivy fans should pick this up for their collection. As I keep saying, while the figures are not perfect, they look awesome posed next to the cars. The vehicles themselves are all really well done, at at the $24.99 price point these die cast cars are perfect for DC collectors or car enthusiasts. You can order some for yourself right here.
