Ravensburger Announces New Product: Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway

Step into the magical world of Disney Lorcana as Ravensburger has announced some new events, cards, and more for throughout 2024 

When creating a new card game, there will always be a learning curve from expert card players to brand-new players. The arrival of Disney Lorcana from Ravensburger has been an interesting on as it has brought in a lot of Disney fans to the fold. However, going into Local Card Shops might not always be an option, so learning the ropes from other players might not be possible. However, Ravensburger is changing that by announcing a brand new product to ease new players into the game. Introducing the Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway, the plates way to be introduced to the world of Lorcana. This new release will include 230 card decks, a two-player game board, rules, and guides. On top of that, mystery cards will also be included and will be rewarded by two players as they progress through the Gateway. 

When all is said and done, Disney Lorcana fans will build two full decks by the end, allowing them to jump right into play. This is an incredible release, and it will be fun to see what cards will be released and included with its August 9, 2024 release. Gateway seems very similar to the Pokemon My First Battle Decks, but with some unlockables as you learn how to play, which is pretty unique. Fans can expect this set to only be $24.99 and no official images have been revealed yet, so stay tuned for more information as it comes. 

Make Way for Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway

"The Disney Lorcana TCG will introduce a new stand-alone product called Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway, a progressive learn-to-play experience designed to ease new players into the game and TCG space. This ultimate beginner's introduction to the Disney Lorcana TCG includes everything two players need to play right out of the box: two 30-card basic Disney Lorcana TCG decks, a two-player game board with character standees, rules, and player's guides, and additional cards that players will be rewarded to add to their decks as they learn about the card types and gameplay."

"When players have played through all of Gateway, they will have built two standard Disney Lorcana TCG decks they can take and play with friends. Gateway will be released on August 9, 2024, and will retail for $24.99 USD/$29.99 CAD. This is a two-player game for ages 8+."
