Preview Of Irwin Allen's Lost In Space #1 From Original Teleplay From 60's Series
American Gothic Press is releasing a new comic series of Irwin Allen's Lost In Space. Unlike other comic adaptations of television series, the scripts for these comics come from two unproduced teleplays written by acclaimed television writer Carey Wilbur who worked on the television series as well as Star Trek, Rawhide and the Time Tunnel. The scripts were found recently in the Irwin Allen Archives. Working with the wilber scripts are Holly Interlandi, Kostas Pantoulas and Patrick McEvoy.
The scripts were among several screenplays lined up and ready to film when the series was canceled during the third season. Issue one hits comic shops this week and first up is The Curious Galactics, a three-part tale that sends John Robinson, Will Robinson, and Major Don West from a run-of-the-mill radar scouting mission into a potentially deadly alien maze.
Here we have the covers and a few preview pages for the first issue.
