House Of Cards Renewed For Season 3

Long live Frank Underwood. Netflix is obviously very confident in its biggest hit, and just over a week before season 2 premieres, it's greenlit House of Cards for a third season, reports THR.

The Emmy winning series about the most ruthless politician in Washington (well, let's hope) already went very, very dark in the first season and will probably be even more brutal, so how long can they really keep it going before Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is found out and brought to justice? For him to keep up his shenanigans, I fear for the future of Kate Mara and her band of scrappy, determined journalists.

Robin Wright, who plays Claire Underwood, thinks the show has plenty more juice left in it, telling The Wrap:

We're only on the second season so far. When you think about all the other shows that have gone on five, six, eight seasons. We're amateurs in a sense. We're Bambis in the woods.
