Throughout SDCC Viz Media hosted a total of three panels centered around: manga, Neon Alley (online anime streaming channel), and Sailor Moon. Hosting all of them was, Senior Manager, Charlene Ingram.

For the manga news panel, Sales Coordinator, Mark de Vera and, Digital Marketing Director, Eric Eberhardt accompanied Ingram, giving all attendees a copy of either Kimi No Todoke, From Me To You by Karuho Shiina or Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan by Hiroshi Shiibashi. They announced the return of the Viz Media bag decorated with all fan-favorite manga and anime characters like Sailor Moon, Ranma ½, Naruto, One Piece, Hello Kitty… Yet, whenever I passed by the booth most of them (especially the ones I wanted) were gone!

Titles for print and digital manga rolled out fast. Starting with print they named Shonen Jump's Food Wars: Shokugeki No Somawritten by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki, centered around a kid with cooking talents who cannot take over the family's restaurant until he graduates. And for Vampire Knigt lovers they mentioned Black Rose Alice by Setona Mizushiro– a dark anime with deep philosophical themes. They also went over a new series of Catbug books coming out in August: Catbug Treasure Book by Christopher Troise, and The Search For Catbug by artist Ian McGinty which will be similar to Where is Waldo? It will feature highly detailed images in which the reader will have to find where Catbug is hiding. And, to celebrate Hello Kitty's 40 year anniversary they will be coming out with a book called: Hello Kitty, Hello 40; a compilation of short stories from different artists featuring everyone's favorite kitty.

Other new titles coming out starting this Fall are: Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol. 4, the story will be finally coming to an end in November 20th this year. Also, Gyo 2 in 1: Deluxe Edition. Another Shonen Jump title coming out in Nov. is All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka about a guy that after being killed in battle keeps waking up that same day and going through death every time trying to find new ways to survive. We also have another fan-favorite coming out in March of 2015: YU-Gi-OH! A 3-in-1 edition holding all stories, if you have not read the manga keep in mind it is darker and grittier than the anime, and the artwork is stunning. Another Shonen Jump looking to see print in March is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki– available now online, too.

For Digital manga we have all the previous ones mentioned, which will come out the same day the come out in print. A great news is that all Viz Media manga is now, also, available through Comixology and all tablet/phone/media platforms. Only available digitally we have: One Punch Man about a man so strong that becomes bored with his powers and is always looking for stronger opponents to fight with. We also have My Love Story, plus a crossover with Nisekoi x My Love Story. They announced that they will be bringing other fan-favorites through Viz Select like: Chibi Vampire, DN Angel, Future Diary, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Also some for the adult section: Happy Marriage and Midnight Secretary.
