A Typo By Any Other Name… Can Be Really Funny

As a comic creator, nothing irritates you more than noticing a typo after something has been printed. It looks bad. It makes you feel unprofessional and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Some types are worse than others. If its in the description of a book, you can hope folks glance by it and their mind fixes it for you. That happens. But if it's an important piece of information like part of a web address or the title of a book… then you're pretty much out of luck.

And then there are typos that just make you laugh.

Case in point, this weekend at the New Jersey Comic Expo, Top Cow is on sight and they have a crack editorial team that does a really good job. I know, I work with them on a few books and they catch a lot of my typos. But Matt Hawkins just shared the below photo that shows a great typo. On a handout card for Postal #1, it tells fans where they can download a free copy and lists the series creators… artist Isaac Goodhart may have found his porn name by the subtle slip of a finger… Ladies and Gentlemen meet Isaac Goodhard.
