Will Rahne Sinclair Vote for Strong Guy? Krakoan X-Men Spoilers Today

Today, Marvel Comics published four X-books, X-Men #17, Excalibur #10, New Mutants #15, Wolverine #9 and Deadpool #10. But there's more Deadpool Krakoan content in Savage Avengers #17 than in Deadpool. Because the big X-Men #17 news is the announcement of the vote. That people will be able to vote for the final member of the new X-Men team. But have they thought this through?

X-Men
X-Men #17

Rahne Sinclair, Wolfsbane, is asking about the resurrection of her son, Tier Sinclair. And gets a letter from Elixir, now one of The Five resurrecting mutants, who was there for Tier's death.

X-Men
New Mutants #15

It doesn't go well.

X-Men

Proof of death? Maybe they could use back issues?

X-Men

Everyone seemed sure at the time.

X-Men

Given that Guido, Strong Guy, is standing for The X-Men, he must have known this would come up. Which lead to Bleeding Cool creating our own X-Men smear campaign against him – and others. Over in Excalibur, Pete Wisdom is being encouraged to become a double agent against Krakoa for Queen and Country.

X-Men
Excalibur #10

And as the government in another dimension where, Betsy Braddock is Queen Elizabeth II, builds on what was once the Excalibur lighthouse for its own purposes, we get the return of another familiar name.

X-Men
Excalibur #10

Alysande Stuart. Not using her Brigadier title on this world. On Marvel 616, she was a founder of WHO, the Weird Happenings Unit (a blatant reference to Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart of Doctor Who's UNIT) she was killed by Jamie Braddock and, as she's not a mutant, hasn't been resurrected.

X-Men
Excalibur #55

Any chance Betsy Braddock could bring this Alysande back to the 616 with her? Probably not, but hey, if you can vote on X-Men members today, maybe there's a little more give and take between audience and creative these days?

X-Men
Wolverine #9

As well as a previous hand of Wolverine being auctioned in Madripoor, we also get Maverick himself on the block. And being sold as a deadly key to Krakoa… although, as noted, this seems more of a temporary inconvenience right now. While in X-Men #17, we see just why Brett Booth was picked to return to the book by Jonathan Hickman, with the introduction of new bad guy politician, Urr. And yes, that does sound like a literal placeholder of a name, but he looks somewhere between Deathlok, Cyborg, Death's Head and Cable. Of course Brett Booth was the obvious choice.

X-Men
X-Men #17

There are other concerns of course, with Rod Reis doing such a bang-up job of channelling Bill Sienkiewicz in New Mutants, it demanded the return of another certain someone.

X-Men
New Mutants #15

Though they may have missed a trick not doing a Shadow King In Black crossover, and as Gabby joins the New Mutants comic book…

X-Men
New Mutants #15

…will anyone tell her Krakoa's policy on clones right now?
