Ahead of Celebration, Hasbro Reveals New Star Wars Black Series Jakku Speeder With Rey Vehicle

Well we are in it now. Ahead of all the craziness that will take place this weekend at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Hasbro has revealed the next vehicle coming in the 6 inch scale.

Black Series Rey on speeder

Following on the heels of the Biker Scout on Speeder Bike and the massive First Order TIE Fighter, Rey on her Jakku Speeder Bike will be joining the line this fall, presumably when The Last Jedi product starts to hit shelves.

The Speeder itself will feature two panels that will open to show the inside of the vehicle, 9 points of articulation, and a pretty cool base that will allow you to tilt and pose the vehicle.

The main selling point for collectors will be the new sculpt of Rey included. All new, she will come in her wraps made of cloth, a satchel, and her staff from The Force Awakens. It will also have a removable face mask. The figure looks like it will fit into the Speeder really well, which hasn't been an issue in the past, but hopefully on final production pieces she doesn't sit too forward on the Speeder.

Buzz had been that the next vehicle in the 6 inch line was going to be an x-wing, and while that still may happen, it would be hard to imagine they would put more than one 6 inch vehicle on the market at once. That would be a lot to ask of collectors, as the price tag on this one is already $60 and an x-wing figures to be the same or even more. I loved this vehicle in the film, so I plan on getting this for sure, and hopefully these continue to move well so we can get even more.

First seen on i09.
