Apex Legends Shares Some Gorgeous Concept Art

Earlier this week Respawn Entertainment used the Apex Legends twitter account to show off some incredibly gorgeous concept art for the new battle royale game. The tweet included one gorgeous character shot, with a link to Artstation Magazine for the rest of the art. The concepts cover everything from 2D character sketches, 3D models of characters and weapons, as well as designs for the various environments features in the game.

Art Director Todd Sue shared the art along with some touching words on Artstation Magazine:

The path of becoming "Champions" in Apex Legends is filled with challenges, revives, and long odds. Game development is no different. Our art department's success depended on the epic talent and skill of our artists and the force multiplier of strong individual initiative, collaborative attitudes, and having each other's back.

Personally, I am humbled daily by the creativity, craftsmanship, and acts of fellowship within our department. I am also proud to see that ethos of fellowship carried into our game. We are bringing players together through a diverse cast, integrated team play, and a revolutionary non-vocal comms system. These are only small steps towards the goal of everyone playing together.

The entire dev team is blown away by the community's encouragement and generosity. We are excited to share the results of our team's passion and hard work here on ArtStation.
