Bandai Namco Announces Namco Museum Arcade Pac for Switch

This morning, Bandai Namco announced the latest addition to the Namco Museum line with Namco Museum Arcade Pac for the Nintendo Switch.

Along with some classic titles and a few remasters, the collection's primary focus is on including a couple versions of the Pac-Man Championship Edition,  including a special two-player mode for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus. It actually looks really awesome, and it's also interesting to note that this is a North America exclusive title.

The game is due out on September 28th. We have the trailer for you to enjoy and a snippet of details about what games are inside from the press release below.

Namco Museum Arcade Pac features Namco Museum classics such as Pac-Man, Galaga, Splatterhouse, and The Tower Of Druaga along with Rolling Thunder, Skykid, and Tank Force. Additionally, the highly acclaimed Pac-Man Championship Edition series makes its comeback to the Nintendo Switch in Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus featuring eye-popping 3D graphics and over-the-top visuals, the latest version of the classic game takes chomping and chasing through mazes to a crazy new level. Players can enjoy this experience by themselves or with friends in an all new co-op mode, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus 2P, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

"Namco Museum Arcade Pac will take players back to a time when arcades ruled the video game scene without the need of a pocket full of quarters," said Abelina Villegas, Associate Brand Manager for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. "Whether players prefer the traditional gameplay of chomping their way through a maze of PAC-dots or the updated faster gameplay of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus, Namco Museum Arcade Pac is sure to deliver hours of fun to Nintendo Switch players of all ages."
