Batman: The Telltale Game Episode One Now Free On iOS…FOREVER

Starting today, the very first episode of Telltale's Batman: The Telltale Game will be free to play on iOS. This is in perpetuity, so whenever you'd like to start, you can get in on the ground floor, free of charge.

This will also tie in with a major performance update for the game, to ensure the game runs smoothly across all iOS devices.

Batman

The series' opening episode, 'Realm of Shadows', players can take control of Batman and his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, and at several points will get the opportunity to decide how to approach a given situation: whether as the billionaire playboy or the Dark Knight, and the game will track these decisions, among others, to affect the plotline to fit the player.

The game took some interesting liberties with the Batman mythos, as Batman discovers his father was actually a ruthless crime boss, creating for a truly original story and scenario, with some interesting takes on existing Batman characters, such as Alfred Pennyworth, The Penguin, Catwoman and Harvey Dent. Players will then negotiate the difficult political realities of Gotham City and the dark corners of the crime-afflicted city, and try and discover the full truth and stop the city from descending into absolute chaos.

Plus, there's the option to have all your choices made in this game carry over to the recently begun second season of Batman: The Telltale Game – The Enemy Within.
