'Beyond Good & Evil 2' Not Appearing At E3 This Year
Add another game to the list of titles people were hoping to see and won't be at E3. Beyond Good & Evil 2 will not be a part of Ubisoft's presentation at the convention, as revealed by designer Michel Ancel who responded to a fan on Instagram, saying he wasn't sure "E3 would be the best place" to show off the game, but that they're "working on the game so sometime this year, you should hear about it."
The game has been in development for a while, with images and teasers showing off the pre-production clear back to the fall of 2016. Since then, there has been a slew of rumors surrounding the game, from the 2018 release date to being a Nintendo Switch exclusive title to being a reboot. Honestly, no one really knows as the company has kept a lot of the story and information quiet while they work on the game and have had few leaks beyond what they themselves have released. Who can honestly say when we'll see the game comes out. But we know this for certain: you won't be seeing it at E3.
