Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Reveals Switch Gameplay
Koji Igarashi's successfully Kickstarted spiritual successor to the Castlevania series, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night released some gameplay footage for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
Developed by ArtPlay, DICO, and WayForward Technologies, the game is an obvious callback to the Castlevania series made with modern technology. So the game utilizes heavily stylized 3D grahpics, the controls are sleeker, and the game is set in Victorian England. However the gameplay is very similar to the original Castlevania games. Which makes sense, considering Bloodstained was created by Igarashi, who worked on some of the most famous games in Konami's vampire hunting series including Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Despair.
The Switch version of the game has been highly anticipated by fans, and will be releasing this summer.
