Cassandra Is Returning To "SoulCalibur VI" As A DLC Character

At EVO 2019, Bandai Namco revealed that Cassandra would be coming back to SoulCalibur VI as a DLC character this week! When the complete list of characters was finally revealed last year, some fans were outraged that some of the hallmark icons of the game weren't included. And if you go back and look, you'll find Cassandra in the top three of most complaints along with Rock, Lizardman, and Hwang. But now fans can rejoice as shell be added as a DLC character on August 5th, 2019.

You can check out the full trailer below as we see her pulling off some moves that damn near look like Captain America throwing around Mjölnir with his shield. No word yet on if any more DLC characters will be in the mix next season, but it feels like if they wanted to, adding more to the SoulCalibur VI roster wouldn't be much of a challenge. They've already added Amy and Tira, as well as B2 from the Nier series. And based on the teaser at the end, it looks like Season 2 will have a masked character jumping in. Not to mention the already teased crossover with Samurai Shodown.
