Here's what's happening for the Dazzling Dream event in Pokémon GO:

Date and time: Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time
New Shiny Pokémon: Cutiefly will be released in its Shiny form in Pokémon GO for the first time.
Wild Spawns: Clefairy (can be Shiny), Jigglypuff (can be Shiny), Marill (can be Shiny), Snubbull (can be Shiny), Cottonee (can be Shiny), Flabébé in its various flower colors (see below for where each color can be found), Spritzee (can be Shiny), Swirlix (can be Shiny), Dedenne (can be Shiny), Cutiefly (can be Shiny), and Morelull (can be Shiny). Togetic (can be Shiny), White Flower Flabébé, and Orange Flower Flabébé will be rare spawns.
- Flabébé details, per Niantic:
  - Red Flower Flabébé: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
  - Blue Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
  - Yellow Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Americas
  - If you're lucky, you might encounter White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé, no matter what region you're in.
7KM Gift Eggs: Togepi (can be Shiny), Spritzee (can be Shiny), Swirlix (can be Shiny), and Cutiefly (can be Shiny). Note that Cutiefly will have a higher Shiny rate in Eggs than it will in the wild.
Event bonuses:
- 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon
- 2x Stardust for hatching Pokémon
- Dazzling Dreams collection challenge featuring a Carbink encounter
- A $2 Paid Timed Research will be available. Niantic writes:
  - For US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you'll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Complete the research tasks to earn two Premium Battle Passes, XP, Stardust, two Star Pieces, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon! Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.
Field Research: Encounters include Alolan Vulpix (can be Shiny), Spritzee (can be Shiny), Swirlix (can be Shiny), and Cutiefly (can be Shiny). Mawile (can be Shiny) and Carbink will be available but rarer. You will also be able to earn Mega Energy for Gardevoir and Altaria.
