EA Puts Out First Two Chapters of Unravel 2 for Free in Limited Time Trial

The first Unravel game was a charming little venture. It wasn't without fault, with several annoyances but it clearly had a heart and soul to it only brought out by a passion project by the developers. That's why it was intriguing when during EA's E3 conference that the second game was not only announced but released then and there. Unravel 2 has seemingly gone down pretty well too, expanding on the ideas of the original.

If you haven't quite decided if you want to jump in yet though because you are unsure if it is right for you, EA has a nice little offer for you. It's been announced that you can trial the game's first two chapters free of charge right now for a limited time. You can spend up to 10 hours with the game if you so wish as part of the trial, although, completing the first two chapters should take significantly shorter. If you want to get in on the trial, it's available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from now until July 30, 2019. All you have to do is register your Origin account here.

This is a cool little deal. The game's multiplayer mechanics could certainly be fun to noodle around with to get a grasp on how it all plays. It's nice that the option is there for players to sample the title before buying. Also, if you do decide to take the dive after and buy the game outright, your progress will carry over. So why not give it a go? It's free.
