Its New Year's Eve Every Hour in Fortnite Today With Special Celebrations

If you feel like playing Fortnite today on New Year's Eve, there's an awesome surprise waiting for you every hour on the hour. An event caught a number of players off-guard, as you can see from the video below, of a celebration to ring in the new year. If you're playing battle royale, no matter where you are in the game or how far along you are in the eliminations, the game will celebrate the new year at the top of each hour today. This includes a countdown, fireworks, confetti, balloons, and fireworks. It also forces all characters to dance for a period of time, so it could be a life-saver or very detrimental, depending on where you're at.

It's a nice festive thing for Epic Games to do with all of their players in Fortnite. And it's mostly harmless. We recommend trying to get into a game right before the hour kicks off so you can be flying down to the map through the fireworks!
