'Kerbal Space Program' Now In The Hands Of 'GTAV' Publishers

Yesterday the announcement was made that Take Two have taken control of the game Kerbal Space Program, originally created by indie developer Squad. The company will continue working with the new owners and will be producing updates for the upcoming expansions to the game.

Take-Two and Squad both sent out the news on Wednesday. TT's was very brief, but the Squad devs posted a more in-depth response to the acquisition. The next expansion will be a mission builder and add in the History Pack, which will let players go on KSP versions of historic space missions. It's cool to see that the game wasn't immediately just added to the collection of games both companies have as a trophy for a few years and that they're planning to continue developing it and adding more games and DLC to the franchise.
