Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy Has A Release Date
Each of the mainline Naruto Storm games are coming to current-generation consoles this summer in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 25.
The legacy bundles includes Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst as a remastered set and available for current generation consoles for the very first time. The three remastered titles, as well as the included Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto, will also include all of the major downloadable content offered throughout the series, giving fans the entire Naruto Shippuden storyline in one package.
Storm Legacy will be available digitally for $69.99, while a physical edition that comes with a Steelbook case, art book, and a Naruto anime will be available for $79.99.
For those who already own Storm 4, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a separate bundle that only includes the newly remastered titles.
These bundles are particularly noteworthy in that it's the first time the original Naruto Storm game will be available on an Xbox console. Also, given the Storm games' cinematic and detailed recreations of Naruto's story, these games will be the perfect way for a Naruto newcomer to play through a slightly tweaked and abridged version of the manga, rather than sit down and read the innumerable number of manga that make up the massive Naruto franchise.
At the very least, the games are better than the anime for that.
