Renegade Game Studios Releasing New Expansion for Clank!

Renegade Game Studios, game designers well-known for such titles as Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid and Space Battle Lunchtime, are releasing an expansion set for their deck-building adventure card game, Clank!, called Clank! Adventuring Party. With Clank! Adventuring Party, the game as a whole can be run with upwards of six players (whereas the original Clank! could only be run with two to four).

This game expansion is compatible with the original Clank! or with Clank! Legacy, provided that the main campaign has been fully completed by players already. It adds six different asymmetrical decks to the game which will provide players with a bunch of new variance in their gameplay.

The announcement on Renegade Game Studios' website is as such:

The thieves' guild is recruiting!Clank! Adventuring Party expands your merry band to include up to six players in your dungeon run! Want a new thieving identity? Shuffle up as one of six unique characters, each with their own starting deck and special abilities!

  • Lead Trusty companions as the Dwarf Agnet.

  • Build Wonderous Collections as the Elf D'allan.

  • Smash hordes of enemies as the Orc Garignar.

  • Sling arcane spells as the mage Lenara.

  • Amass primate power as the MonkeyBot Prime.

  • Or stir up a paw full of trouble as the devious cat Whiskers.

But beware: the ravenous hydra Hexavultus won't give up his treasures easily…

But there's more to this – if you preorder the game expansion, on a first-come, first-served basis you could receive a copy of Lightning Reflexes, a card from the game. What do you think of Clank! and the prospect of its expansion? Does the game look fun? Does it handle well already without an expansion?
