Xbox Series X Game Scorn Trailer Shown On Xbox 20/20 Event
Scorn is a new first person horror adventure game that has a very creepy Alien vibe. A trailer for the game was shown during the Xbox 20/20 event this morning showing off a ton of games and in-game footage for the new Xbox Series X. Scorn looks to be one of the titles to keep an eye on, as the footage of the game was some of the creepiest I have seen in my years as a video gamer. Creepy monsters, filling a chamber and doing their best Xenomorph impression. Looks incredible, and designer Ebb Software may have created something special here.Sign me up for sure. Scorn Looks Like a Giger Homage
Giger's influence is all over the place here, as a mixture of visuals reminiscent of Alien and Prometheus is very apparent. Taking advantage of the new hardware in the Xbox Series X looks like it has made the long wait for this game worth it, as the colors and environments are stunning to look at. Ebb has said in the past that environment of Scorn is a character in itself, so it will be interesting to see what they mean by that.
Speaking of environments, Ebb says each will be unique with its own puzzles, theme, story, and characters that will loosely form some kind of dreamscape world players will have to make sense of. I really like stuff like this that mess with your perceptions of what is going on and keeps you on your toes the entire time you are playing. Honestly, after this Scorn has jumped pretty high on my list of anticipated games, and am excited to get my hands on it as soon as possible.
